In fact, if we don't talk about strategy, it will directly affect the availability of equipment, maintenance costs, safety and environmental protection, and also indirectly affect the reputation of the enterprise, so it will directly affect the immediate or long-term economic benefits of the enterprise.

The reason is very simple. For enterprises without preventive maintenance strategy, the frequent unplanned downtime of equipment will not only affect the delivery time commitment, but also reduce the maintenance efficiency and increase the risk of equipment chain damage. For processes, it will also affect the production of upstream and downstream equipment, with greater losses.

The average service life of the equipment should be taken into account when making the maintenance strategy. Generally speaking, the failure rate level of the whole life of the equipment can be divided into three stages: initial failure period, occasional (random) failure period and consumption failure period. Different stages should have different maintenance strategies, which have been described in the previous chapters and will not be carried out.

Maintenance mode refers to the design of maintenance micro strategy. Micro maintenance strategy is related to each specific equipment, or a part of the equipment. The following maintenance mode is a micro maintenance strategy frequently used by enterprises.

Post maintenance: refers to the repair after equipment failure. It is applicable to the repair after failure, which is not serious in consequence, will not cause damage to equipment chain, will not endanger safety and environment, will not block the links before and after production, and will not cause small loss of equipment shutdown. Post maintenance can greatly extend the effective service life of the equipment, which is a relatively economic maintenance strategy. The factory should not think that it is inevitable to maintain the equipment after the accident, so it takes the maintenance after the accident as an optional maintenance strategy. On the contrary, post maintenance should be an active strategy design of enterprises. That is to say, for some equipment or parts, we never do preventive maintenance, only do post maintenance. If the lighting system is regarded as a piece of equipment, the enterprise never does preventive maintenance for such equipment.
